Ryedale Environmental Group are holding a Restoring Nature conference on Friday 12 September in Kirby Misperton Village Hall.
There is a packed programme covering many topics, including planting trees, protecting our dark skies, many more case studies of biodiversity improvement in action at county, town and parish level, and updates on some of the exciting initiatives covered at the conference last year.
Speakers include experts from Howardian Hills National Landscape, North York Moors National Park, North Yorkshire Council, Castle Howard Estate and parish councils. This is all designed to inspire plans for nature recovery and promote lively and constructive discussion. There will be plenty of time for networking and one-to-one discussions with the speakers and attendees, and exhibitor stalls to visit during the breaks.
The event is free of charge and includes a complimentary breakfast and lunch. It has very kindly been sponsored by North York Moors National Park Authority.

Although the primary aim of this conference is to help town and parish councils by showcasing ongoing projects, the event is open to anyone with an interest in increasing biodiversity in this beautiful part of Yorkshire. Please spread the word.
