Children’s Activities

Home 9 Children’s Activities

Have you ever wondered how a bird makes a nest? Or how to bend willow into beautiful shapes? Perhaps you just questioned how invertebrates survive at the bottom of a pond?

We work with a range of partners to deliver activities for children and young people. Taking inspiration from the seasons, local culture and the environment, children are encouraged to get creative and to venture outside to learn about the natural world first hand.

Activities have included making willow wreaths, star gazing, creative writing, pond dipping and river fly identification, adaptations game, den building, mini-beast hunting, map skills and creative arts projects.

Please get in touch if you would like us to work with you on an outreach project.
