Free ELS meetings for farmers and landowners

Natural England are running a series of meetings throughout the region to help famers and land managers renew their Entry Level Stewardship (ELS) agreements. ELS provides a straightforward approach to supporting the good stewardship of the countryside. The meetings are open to all farmers and landowners who can receive up to £30 per hectare per year for simple work that benefits the environment.

Wednesday 24th November, 10am - 1pm - meeting at Malton & Norton Rugby Club, The Gannock, Old Malton Road, Malton YO17 7EY.

Monday 6th December, 10am - 1pm - meeting at The Askham Bryan Centre, Thirsk Rural Business Centre, Blakey Lane, Thirsk, North Yorks, YO7 3AB.

Attendees will hear practical advice about how the scheme has changed, the new options that are available and how it helps the Campaign for the Farmed Environment.
