LEADER funding for Parish/Community Caretakers

A second opportunity for your Parish to apply for LEADER funding for your Parish / Community Caretaker is now open and will close on Friday 17 September 2010. Funding is available for parishes working either independently, or in partnership with another parish within the North York Moors, Coast and Hills LEADER area but we are unable to provide funding to support the continuation of an existing caretaker scheme.

LEADER is able to contribute 75% of a projects costs (up to £4,500) in year 1, 50% in year 2, and then 25% in year 3. For more details, an information pack and an application form please see their website - http://www.moorscoastandhills.org.uk/parish-caretaker-scheme/.
