Help Explore Yearsley Moor

The Lime and Ice project team is seeking volunteers to help with an investigation into the landscape and archaeology of Yearsley Moor - an area covering 6000 years of history from the bronze age to the second world war.

Volunteers will receive full training and support and will be involved in studyng aerial photographs, historical maps and old documents as well as taking part in a field exploration.

The project will take place through the late summer and autumn of 2009. I
