Nocturnal Nature Walk

Time: Meet at 7pm
Duration: 7pm-10pm


Join the Howardian Hills AONB and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust for an evening discovering Nocturnal Nature. Before the sun sets build your bat box and find out about a bats life. As night draws in try your hand at bat identification with the help of a bat detector as we discover the different species of bats using different habitats around Welburn.

Flat shoes or boots are recommended as we will be walking between the different habitats. Please bring a torch if you have one and remember to bring warm, dry, clothing as the temperature might drop with nightfall.

Cost: To be confirmed. It will be minimal and will include the cost of one bat box kit (to be assembled on the evening). Additional box kits available - please order when booking.

Refreshments: Tea and coffee included in the price.
