Terrington Village Hall hosts Ryedale Fringe Festival Event
With a view to initiating a genuine fringe movement, to compliment the original Ryedale Festival, the Backotheshop Art Cafe is promoting the Joni Mitchell Project, featuring Sally Barker.
On Saturday 24th July in Terrington village Hall, Sally Barker will present a captivating evening of Joni Mitchell's poignant early songs in a show dedicated to one of the truly great singer/songwriters.
Peter Doggett writes in Mojo Magazine:
"This celebration of Joni Mitchell's genius is much more than just a tribute act. Sally Barker takes some of the most iconic and challenging songs in Joni's catalogue, and makes them her own, with assistance from her equally talented colleagues..... Joni Mitchell would be proud of what she has inspired."
The concert starts at 8pm with doors open at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £10, and are available from Terrington Stores (Telephone 01653 648488), Malton Tourist Information Centre or by post.
