Biodiversity Courses for farmers

Corn buntings and cornflowers - bring song and colour to your farm

On Thursday 8 July the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, by kind permission of farmers S and J Gibson, will be holding an event at Birkdale Farm, Terrington (4.00 pm to late, including BBQ). A tour of the farm will identify key arable flora and farmland birds, their requirements and reasons for their decline and highlight how to manage them within a typical farming system, and discuss funding opportunities under Stewardship schemes.
