Discovery Lecture - Dancing Dragonflies

Venue: The Arboretum Kew at Castle Howard
Time: 2.30pm to approx 5.00pm

One of five interesting and interactive discovery lectures to be held at The Arboretum Trust during 2009.

Dancing Dragonflies

Do you know your dragonflies from your
damselflies? A chance to learn more about this
fascinating group of insects with local recorder, for the British Dragonfly Society, Keith Gittens.

Starting at 2.30pm Keith will lead a walk
to see what dragonflies can be found within
the arboretum. Please bring binoculars if you can.

This will be followed at 4pm with a talk where you
can learn more about the dragonfly life cycle, how to
identify and where to look for dragonflies.

Tickets: £5 adult, £2.50 child. Arboretum members £4 adult, £1.50 child.
