Local Produce

The benefits of buying local products are many. Produce can be fresher, it keeps money in the local economy, and it allows you to have a direct impact in the way your area develops. The AONB works with the North York Moors National Park to help promote the local assets of the area including coppice, produce and crafts.

A Guide is available to food, drink and crafts produced in and around the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the North York Moors National Park. Copies of the guide are available from some shops within the area and from the North York Moors National Park, Bondgate, Helmsley, York YO62 5BP or it can be viewed on moors.uk.net
